Gingham Black from HAIR CREPERIE, which was sold out, is back in stock.
Gingham black is the most popular color. Even if we make a lot, it will sell out quickly, so we apologize that those looking for gingham black may have had to wait a little longer.
This time too, I made a generous amount, so I don't think I'll run out of stock for a while...probably.
updated the package
The gingham black for this arrival is in a new package.
From now on, every time we restock, all color packages will be transitioned to this plastic free package.
A crepe-like design package that has been adopted since the brand started. As you can see, it was a unique and one-of-a-kind design. That crepe-shaped package was something I made together with a classmate of mine who was a designer when I was a student. The wrapped body can be seen directly, visibility is good, and above all, it is cute.
However, since the main body is exposed, I ended up putting it in an OPP bag to prevent it from getting dirty. I felt uncomfortable with the OPP bag, and decided to shift to a new plastic free package.
The existence of the OPP bag itself, and the cellophane tape that stops it, is not cute either in terms of the environment or my senses. It was the trigger that I started to think. (both very useful though)
Attitude towards Plafree
Suppose it suddenly rained heavily and you were dressed up that day. Hair, makeup, clothes. I can't afford to get all wet in the rain. If there was a convenience store nearby at that time and they sold plastic umbrellas. Then I will buy that vinyl umbrella.
I don't bother to write my name on the plastic umbrella I bought, and if I leave that plastic umbrella on the umbrella stand, someone might take it without me knowing. So, in the end, the plastic umbrella may be thrown away as garbage. Still, I think I'll buy a vinyl umbrella for myself to be fashionable that day. …But I basically carry a folding umbrella so that such a sad thing doesn’t happen.
For someone like me, making the packaging of the brand's products I'm involved in plastic-free is somewhat confusing.
But what if convenience stores sell nice umbrellas that you want to use for a long time at the same price as vinyl umbrellas? I will buy the umbrella and write the name on it so that the owner can be identified.
If I were to develop an umbrella to sell at a convenience store, I think I would aim for such an umbrella, but what I am making is a nightcap. So, when it's my turn to "decide", I change it little by little within my reach. I'm in the position.
