First Dream Set List
KITSUMU's patchwork design actually incorporates auspicious motifs: Mount Fuji and the Uchide no Kozuchi (magic mallet).
There's an old saying that if you sleep with an auspicious image under your pillow, you'll dream of it. KITSUMU is the perfect item for having a good first dream.
Moreover, using a KITSUMU made of silk-cotton fabric reduces bedhead, so you'll wake up feeling refreshed.
Furthermore, there's a reason why we included a comb in this set. Combing your hair is called "kushi-kezuru" in Japanese, and from this, the comb itself has taken on the auspicious meaning of "shaving off" (reducing) "suffering" and "death."
We've created this KITSUMU and comb set with the wish that everyone will have a good first dream in the New Year and experience a year with less suffering.
What is KITSUMU, the silk-cotton pillowcase?
About its bedhead reduction effect

KITSUMU uses silk-cotton fabric on the side that touches your hair. The reason we use expensive silk-blend fabric, which also requires more care, is because of its incredible friction reduction effect while you sleep.
As you can clearly see in the image above, bedhead is significantly reduced on mornings after sleeping with the silk-cotton pillowcase "KITSUMU" compared to mornings after using a regular pillowcase.
The photos show hair immediately after waking up, without even being combed. Bedhead from a regular pillowcase is often severe and stubborn, and when you try to comb it, it gets tangled and hair frequently breaks. However, with a silk-cotton pillowcase, the feel of your hair when you run your fingers through it is different. There's almost no tangling, and in most cases, a comb will smooth it out. What's more, you can feel the effects the very next day after you start using it, which is a great bonus.
It's also effective for saving time in the morning, and friction is detrimental not only to hair but also to skin.
It's also recommended as a gift for pregnant women who spend more time in bed, or for those recovering from illness.

The problem of how to see Mount Fuji or the Uchide no Kozuchi
I say that Mount Fuji and the Uchide no Kozuchi are incorporated into the patchwork design! But many people probably don't know how to see Mount Fuji or the Uchide no Kozuchi at first glance.
Or rather, I wonder if anyone understands it without an explanation... I believe they do, but...
Feeling a little worried, I'll explain with photos.

Mount Fuji might be relatively easy to spot.
The white square in the upper right is the summit of the mountain. The light blue lines extending to the left and downward from that square are the mountain ridges.
It's as if you're tilting your head sideways to view Mount Fuji.
They say "First Fuji, second hawk, third eggplant," so if Mount Fuji appears in your dream, wouldn't that be a great success for your first dream challenge?

Next up is the Uchide no Kozuchi (magic mallet).
What exactly is a mallet, you might ask? It's a wooden hammer. Specifically, the Uchide no Kozuchi refers to the one Daikokuten holds. Regular hammers have long, sturdy handles, but a mallet's striking end is large and round at the tip of the handle.
That striking part is the large square on the right side of the patchwork. And there are three squares lined up on the left, with the yellow square in the middle being the handle.
In other words, the patchwork depicts the Uchide no Kozuchi viewed directly from the side.
By the way, what makes the Uchide no Kozuchi so "auspicious"? It's said that if you shake it while wishing for something, whatever you desire will appear.
It's the ultimate item, isn't it? I'd love to get my hands on one, even if only in a dream.
Original Wooden Comb

This is an original wooden comb, given to those who purchase KITSUMU during the campaign period.
The illustrations of Venus and the phases of the moon were created by Peko Asano.
Please note in advance that we are providing B-grade items that are perfectly usable but were set aside due to noticeable knots in the wood when previously sold.
*For actual conditions, please see the photos at the bottom of the set page.
I also use this comb, of course, and the great thing about it being wooden is that it doesn't generate static electricity.
Please take advantage of the First Dream Set to get yours.
